Avon Astonishing Lengths mascara is amazing! I also love Cover Girl's plain, regular, "thickening" mascara. It's in a hot pink tube. Nothing special, but definitely does what it says it will!

maybelline collosol, the yellow tube (; i've used it everyday for two years. it's only 5.74 at my target, but i don't know if that's the constant price :) i LOOOOVE it. it gives me length and volume, yay. and it doesn't clump.

L'Oreal Voluminous. It's fantastic, I've been using it as long as I can remember. It's about $6.

I love CoverGirl LashBlast (the orange tube!)... it's usually around $8 (but I've seen it at Costco for a great deal, too!) so it's in no way going to break the bank. Also, L'Oreal Voluminous is great.... but I'm just a creature of habit, so I stick with my LashBlast :)

Cover Girl LashBlast Volume Blasting Mascara (the orange tube) is what I'm using now and it's really good! It's like a little under $6 at Target. :)

Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion (purple tube!). It gives you volume AND length!

A great cheap solution is the mascara from N.Y.C. ...I've been using it for years, & it works wonders - plus, at only a few bucks a pop, it keeps my wallet happy!

I just bought Rimmel extra WOW lash mascra for 3.79 at Target. It works great and almost makes it look as if I have fake lashes, without looking over the top.

I had the same problem 2 years ago....DiorShow always set me back more than $20 every couple of months. A less expensive alternative is Benefit's BadGal (original, not long), but if you want to go even cheaper, go for Covergirl's LashBlast original (orange, the other lengthening one is gimmicky, the fusion is same as original). With these drugstore mascaras I often find it necessary to clean off the wand with a tissue before I apply. Other than that, they give me an identical effect.

I actually love the yellow lengthening one!

I find the original orange tube to come out as a mess. Bought it several times from different drugstores - Each time the huge mascara brush would deposit a ridiculous amount of excess mascara on my eyelids and below my eyes. I don't buy into those gimmicky "the bigger the brush, the bigger the lashes" products anymore thanks to Lashblast. I have pretty long lashes, too, and this just seemed to make them clump together, as well as the aforementioned mess on my eyelids.

The yellow tube, however, fanned my lashes out and made them look long. It's not for someone who wants big, thick lashes, but long, fanned-out ones that are defined. I switched to Covergirl Professional Remarkable and I love it. It's waterproof, washes off easily, and makes my lashes both long and gives me good volume. And it's about $5 - Like Great Lash but better. I really just want to get the new Badgal Waterproof or switch back to Too Faced, but I'm poor at the moment. :/
