Do You Give Money to Homeless People?
This is my first time living in NYC, and one of the major differences between here and my hometown is the amount of homeless people here. It's not uncommon for someone to walk up to you and ask you for money. Do you shell out a couple bucks from your wallet, or keep going?

well if they look like drug dealers most are then no but if i think or fel so bad i would

i used to be more inclined to shell out a couple dollars when asked, but after hearing that they usually spend it on drugs and what not, i've stopped. it's best if you use the money to buy food for them, even if it's just temporarily.

It depends on my mood. I'm not exactly rolling in dough either.

The "I-want-to-help-the-world-and-solve-all-global-issues" side of me always wants to, but I'm also a cautious individual who just doesn't know if he/she is going to use the money to buy drugs, so I just keep walking.

It depends, I won't give them money but if I have enough money on me, I'll buy them something to eat.

I once asked a homeless guy to buy me some tobacco when i was younger, he agreed but i didnt get my change because he had bought himself some energy drink and some bits and bobs.
