    How do I gain more confidence?

    I've never had that much confidence at all. I'm not that skinny, my face hasn't  been clear since before puberty and I've never had a boy friend. It doesn't help that the guy that I like likes my best friend (who is so comfortable with her self that she doesn't wear any makeup). After that my confidence is just about zero. How do I gain that confidence back and more?

    I think you should find something you love and/or that you're good at and develop it. It's almost impossible to not be confident when you're doing something you're awesome at, and that confidence will eventually bleed into other areas of your life. (And forget about boys. When the right one comes along, it'll happen. Do your thing! I've never had a boyfriend either, but I've mostly stopped worrying about it. Trust me, life's more fun this way!) :)

    This might sound a little silly but it worked for me......

    I've never had a boyfriend either and I've always had a hard time looking guys in the eyes for any reasonable amount of time. One of my friends (who is a guy and who, at the time, I'd known for a total of about 15 hours) noticed that I kept looking away from him. So he sat directly across from me at our little table in Subway and made me just stare at him while we talked........

    .......just stare during our whole conversation. It was reeeallly pretty awkward and hard at first cuz he was a cute guy and I was kinda shy around guys anyway (at least making eye contact) but after our intense stare sesh I can look anyone in the eye without blinking.

    I don't know why, and I don't know if that'll be of any help to you, but it made a difference for me!
