How do you combat school-related procrastination?

Well, I actually procrastinate on a lot of things, but school work is what I'm most concerned about. I've gotten fairly good at not procrastinating too much with studying and with easy homework, but when it comes to papers I'm all for BS-ing my way through it the night before (ahem, light tonight) and usually will still get a decent mark (low 70s at the lowest). What are some good tips for not procrastinating on something that seems really daunting, boring, or both?

I force myself to go to a place with no environmental stimuli... I have driven to my alma-mater uni library just to get a place to study for the weekend (it's like 10m away). Anywhere that there is a lack of comfort, lack of internet (if I just need to read the books/printed articles), and lack of people seems to be good for me. Oh, and make a study schedule and stick to it. If you plan on going to the library, do it, and plan out blocks of time. If you make your schedule more structured, you will have much more focus on the importance of getting tasks done.

I write out a schedule for myself. I'm really OCD about being on time, so if I give myself deadlines to meet, or say I have to do this or be there at this time, I'm going to do it. Feeling some sort of pressure or immediacy really helps!
