I love her to death, and she's practically my sister. It's not like she isn't well off and cannot buy her own makeup, but rather she finds it easier to just take mine. Which I don't get. Last year, I bought a NYX glitter pallet. I go over to her house, and I bring it with me so I could do my makeup there the next day. After I get out of the shower, I notice it missing. So I ask her if she'd seen it, and she was like, no, I haven't, maybe you just misplaced it. I go back to her house two weeks later and my NYX pallet, with the scratch on the plastic because I dropped it, on her bathroom counter. I ask her about it, and she claims she just bought it the day before. I ask her where, and she says she bought it at Wal-mart. They don't sell NYX at Wal-mart.

If this had been a one time thing, I wouldn't have cared too much. Just forgive and forget. But I've noticed over time and after her coming over, a Forever 21 silver glitter went missing. Then a Wet & Wild pink shimmer. And a few weeks ago, a Sally Girl silver glitter went missing, and since it's so small I just thought I had lost it. So I go to her house the next day to hang out, and I see my glitter in her room. She comes over to my house to see I had bought another, and she's like, wow, that's pretty, where can I buy that?

I'm not mad at her for this, but I do need to put a stop to it. None of the things she stole were expensive, but what if they had been? I don't want any of my department store makeup getting stolen. How do I talk to her about this, without being mean?
